Reenie McCarthy is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Mighty Therapeutics. Reenie is a 20+ year veteran of the investment team of Morningside, Stealth’s principal investor, with extensive experience working with private nonclinical and clinical stage companies developing drugs across a broad spectrum of therapeutic areas.

Anthony Abbruscato is the Vice President of Clinical Development at Mighty Therapeutics. Anthony brings close to 10 years of experience between clinical practice, academia, and industry. In industry, he has held positions in translational medicine, clinical pharmacology, early clinical development, and late-stage clinical development across both large pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. He received a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Northeastern University, completed his residency training at NYU Langone Hospital, Long Island, and completed a post-doctoral industry Fellowship at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedial research in translational oncology. Anthony holds a board certification as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist and has held a faculty appointment at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University.

Brian Blakey is the Chief Business Officer of Mighty Therapeutics. He brings 30 years of pharmaceutical marketing, alliance development and operations experience to Stealth. Previously, Brian was the COO of Element Marketing Group and the Vice President of Commercial Development at Salutria (formerly AtheroGenics). He has held senior positions at other pharmaceutical companies, including GlaxoSmithKline. Brian holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida.

Dalena Brockwell is the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Mighty Therapeutics, bringing over 25 years of pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs experience, including over 15 years leading U.S. Regulatory Affairs in global organizations.  She has deep expertise in orphan drug development, FDA expedited programs, and regulatory compliance, with broad drug lifecycle experience, including rare diseases. Dalena holds an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers Business School and a BS in Chemistry from Montclair State University. She is RAC‑certified and maintains additional credentials in healthcare compliance and quality/regulatory affairs. She is recognized for her strategic leadership, regulatory expertise, and steadfast commitment to advancing therapies for patients with unmet medical needs.

David A. Brown is Chief Scientific Officer at Mighty Therapeutics. David has been researching metabolism for more than 20 years. His scientific expertise spans across basic mitochondrial biology through bioenergetic dysfunction in various pathologies. He has extensive experience designing and testing novel approaches to target cellular energy production. Prior to joining Stealth he was a tenured professor, where he held numerous leadership roles and led a prolific mitochondrial research laboratory. David has authored hundreds of scientific publications, served as an expert reviewer for scores of funding agencies and scientific journals, and founded two consulting companies. David received a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech, a PhD from the University of Colorado, and completed post-doctoral training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Jim Carr is the Chief Clinical Development Officer of Mighty Therapeutics. He brings over 20 years of industry experience in the areas of clinical development, medical affairs, lifecycle management, new product planning, and global marketing to Stealth. Previously, Jim was an Executive Director in the Global Cardiovascular Franchise at GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to GlaxoSmithKline, Jim held the role of Vice President of Clinical Development at Arca Biopharma. Jim’s educational background is a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota and post-graduate training in clinical cardiovascular pharmacology. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Jim was on the clinical faculty at the University at Buffalo-SUNY School of Pharmacy.

Michael DiMatteo is the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Mighty Therapeutics. He has 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, a majority of which has been in Medical Affairs. He was formerly Executive Director, Medical Affairs for Dicerna Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, Michael held medical affairs, medical marketing, business development, and product strategy roles at Parke-Davis, GlaxoSmithKline and Mylan. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the West Virginia University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Duquesne University.

Henry Hess joined Mighty Therapeutics in 2011, and serves as its chief legal counsel. Henry brings more than two decades of experience in providing business, transactional and legal advice to both public and private life science, healthcare and technology companies. Prior to joining Stealth, Henry worked as an attorney with the law firm of Tabet DiVito & Rothstein, where he advised clients on multiple areas of law and business. Henry holds a BA from The Ohio State University and a law degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Mike Malynn is Chief People Officer at Mighty Therapeutics. He has more than 25 years of HR experience in the areas of talent acquisition and development, executive coaching, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and organizational development. Mike’s experience includes working at both small and large companies within diverse industries. He joined Ironwood Pharmaceuticals in 2007 as Head of Human Resources where he built and led the HR function during a period of high growth, helping the organization successfully transition from a development to a commercial stage company. Prior to joining Stealth, Mike served in HR leadership positions at Seaside Therapeutics and Biogen. He holds a B.S. in Business Management from Merrimack College.

Rekha Sathyanarayana is Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations at Mighty Therapeutics. Rekha has more than 25+ years of diverse therapeutic experience in pharmaceutical development, of which 15+ years have been serving in a key leadership position as Head of Clinical Operations, responsible for strategic oversight, budget and functional line management. Rekha has overseen global pivotal trials at Pharma, CRO and Biotech that culminated in bringing 6 commercial products to market. Prior to joining Mighty Therapeutics, Rekha was Vice President Clinical Operations at Titan Pharmaceuticals leading programs in Parkinson’s Disease and Opioid addition, including receiving a NIDA grant. Previously, she led her department through IND and BLA enabling programs at Revance Therapeutics. At Bavarian Nordic A/S, she led cancer vaccine program. At Depomed Inc, she was pivotal in securing NDA approvals of 3 commercial products. She also had increasing responsibilities at Neopath Inc, R2 Technologies, PPD Inc and Abbott Labs that yielded 510K & NDA approvals. Rekha holds a BS in Microbiology from Bangalore University, an advanced BS in Medical Technology from Northern Illinois University and has attained Executive Leadership Management certification from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Brian Saxton is Vice President, Quality Assurance at Mighty Therapeutics. Brian has 30 years of regulated industry experience in medical device and pharmaceuticals including operations, project and functional line management, quality systems, and drug product commercialization. Prior to joining Stealth he served as Senior Director, Quality Assurance at Tesaro managing the QA responsibilities for commercialization of both US- and EU-based drug products. Brian has also been responsible for QA-related commercialization activities with previous companies including Sepracor/Sunovion and Acusphere. In addition to these positions within operating companies, Brian has also served as a consultant to various local pharmaceutical companies. Brian holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College, and an MBA from Boston University.
